Hot-rolled structural sheets are widely used in mechanical engineering, metalworking, shipbuilding and construction. The surface of cold-rolled sheet metal is significantly flatter and smoother than hot-rolled sheet metal, and due to the rolling technology and quality, the sheet metal itself is dimensionally more accurate, with smaller deviation tolerances and exceptional workability. Because of this, cold-rolled sheet metal has found application, starting from the production of various profiles, all the way to the auto industry and the production of white goods. Galvanized sheets are cold-rolled steel sheets surface-protected with a coating of zinc, which gives the material corrosion resistance to atmospheric conditions. The application of zinc varies according to the requirements where the sheet will be used and ranges from 70 g/m2 to even over 1,000 g/m2. That's why this sheet has found great use in construction, the production of billboards, silos and household appliances.
Metalopromet offers galvanized material with a zinc coating of 100 to 275 g/m2, and the range of dimensions is shown in the table. At the customer's request, we have the option of purchasing with a higher zinc coating and larger sheet thicknesses.
